Thank you to the 774 community members who took part in the latest MARKYT Community Scorecard study. Your feedback is essential in shaping the Shire’s future planning and strategic direction, highlighting the areas that matter most to you.

  • Local Roads – a strong call for improved maintenance, upgrades and long‑term planning

  • Festivals, Markets & Community Events – more support, promotion and activation of community spaces
  • Community Engagement on Local Issues – clearer communication, greater transparency and more opportunities for early input
  • Aged Care & Accommodation – expanded facilities, support for ageing in place and better transport access
  • Housing – increased supply, diversity of options and streamlined planning processes

These insights will inform the major review of the Council Plan (currently in progress), ensuring that decision‑making is guided by the needs, aspirations and priorities identified by our community.
