Apex Park

The Apex Park can be found in the main street of Donnybrook next to the Amphitheatre and Anzac Memorial. It features children’s play equipment, picnic benches, public toilets and is within walking distance of the town’s main cafes.

 

Apple Fun Park

The Apple Fun Park is situated in the heart of Donnybrook, alongside the main street in town and close to the shops, it is the ideal destination for a day of family fun.

Balingup Oval

The Balingup Oval accommodates competitive and social sporting fixtures as well as training sessions for sports played away from the town. The oval is 200m x 120m and is reticulated, with toilets available at the adjacent Transit Park, as well as a shower/changeroom block.

Egan Park

Reserve Street, Donnybrook

Egan Park features a shaded picnic area, gas BBQ, children’s play equipment and public toilet. The green provides a local meeting place for families and, neighbouring the Park, is the Donnybrook Transit Park which is used as a rest point. Along with VC Mitchell Park, Egan Park is one of the major hubs of outdoor activity in Donnybrook. The facility accommodates competitive and social sporting fixtures, as well as training sessions for local Cricket, Netball and Hockey clubs. The facility also hosts multiple community activites, including the annual Donnybrook Apple Festival and Christmas Twilight Markets.

The sports ground incorporates a reticulated oval 180m x 140m with grass wicket, and a club house with kitchen, shower and toilet facilities available. A rodeo arena, toilet block open to the public, and multiple floodlit asphalt netball/hockey courts with a small club room are also located at Egan Park.

Jim McDonald Oval

A former football and cricket oval, the Jim McDonald oval is now used regularly by the South West Show Horse Association for events and carnivals. The oval is 200m x 100m, and has no reticulation or lighting. There is a small clubroom with kitchen and toilet facilities available.

 

Kirup Memorial Park & Picnic Area

This space features a shaded picnic table, children’s play equipment and public toilet. The park provides a local meeting place for families and is used by tourists as a rest point.

Pioneer Park Mullalyup

The Pioneer Park in Mullalyup features a shaded picnic table, children’s slide and public toilet. The park is predominately used by tourists as a rest point.

 

Station Square

Collins Street, Donnybrook

The Railway Heritage Precinct located adjacent to the Old Railway Station is now known as Station Square. The park showcases Donnybrook's history with a number of features, including the 5 ton crane. The Donnybrook Heritage Goods Shed Interpretative Centre is located within the Station Square Precinct. It primarily features an open grassed area with pathways connecting the East and West side of the Railway. There is shade and seating available, and is within walking distance of the Park Café, main street of Donnybrook with other cafes and shops available, and the Apple Fun Park.

 

VC Mitchell Park (VCMP)

VC Mitchell Park is one of the major hubs of outdoor activity in Donnybrook. The facility accommodates competitive and social sporting fixtures, as well as training sessions, for Australian Rules Football and tennis. The two pavilions are undergoing works as a part of the VC Mitchell Park Project.

Vin Farley Park

Features children’s play equipment, picnic benches, and public toilets. This playground is neighbouring to the VCMP site, and a short walk away from the Donnybrook Recreation Centre.
