Welcome to the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC)!

The DRC is a place for fun, fitness, and social activities for anyone, regardless of your age! Open 6 days a week, the centre features a 25m indoor heated swimming pool used for casual lap swimming to aquarobics, swimming lessons, leisure, carnivals, and even party hire!

  • We are open from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on public holidays unless otherwise stated.

              What clubs and sporting opportunities do you have?

              We are proud to be home to the  Donnybrook Netball Association and Donnybrook Amateur Basketball Association. We also offer Social Indoor Soccer in the winter, Mixed Netball in the summer, and other spots such as badminton and pickleball! You can learn more by clicking the link below.

              How do I book a facility?

              The DRC has a number of hireable spaces within the facility to meet your needs, ranging from our moderately sized Function Room to our Stadium and Courts!

              • Commercial Rate: Bookings that charge individuals to attend and profit from delivering a service or selling a product.
              • Community Rate: Bookings that do not charge individuals to attend and will not profit from hiring the space.

               

              Function Room

              A great space to hold conferences, training or AGM’s. Easy access from our reception area and kitchen. It can comfortably host 40 people sitting and has access to a large screen tv for presentations.

              • Commercial Rate: $36.00 p/hr
              • Community Rate: $22.50 p/hr

              Consultation & Wellness Room

              Our brand new wellness room can be used for physio consultations, small meetings or smaller user groups.

              • Commercial Rate: $23.00 p/hr
              • Community Rate: $15.00 p/hr

              Swimming Pool Lanes

              Our 25m swimming pool has lane hire options for community members, but we also accept commercial bookings - contact us directly to learn more.

              Mezzanine Floor

              This area is available for both commercial and private use. It comprises of a multifunctional fitness area equipped with boxing equipment, spin bikes and light barbels.

              • All bookings: $19.75 p/hr

              • All bookings: $44.00 (flat charge / per event)

              Stadium & Court Hire

              Our 2 court multipurpose stadium has a sprung wooden floor, and accommodates netball, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and badminton.

              The gym facility at the DRC is an ever-growing and developing space. The gym was refloored in 2023 and has been fitted with top-of-the-line equipment from Matrix Fitness. From modern cardio machines, a wide range of resistance machines and free weights, we have everything you need to get the most out of your workout.
