The Shire is pleased to share that major upgrades to the changerooms at the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC) have commenced in February 2026. This marks another milestone in Council’s ongoing commitment to renewing the community facilities residents rely on every day, following the recent renewal of the Donnybrook Scout Hall.

There have been several service interruptions at the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC) due to an unexpected power outage - read more for further details.

Please be advised that the power has been restored and the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC) has reopened as normal - thank you for your cooperation.

This is a quick note to our members that there will be in-term swimming lessons at our pool from Monday 26 May to Friday 6 June, 2025.

The stadium at the DRC will be inaccessible from Tuesday 29 April to Friday 2 May - read more for further details.

We’d like to let you know about some changes to the opening times and services over the Christmas and New Year period for the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC).

Due to a scheduled power outage, the swimming pool at the Donnybrook Recreation Centre will be closed this week on Thursday 14 November 2024. Other services will still be available during this time.

Here's an update on the programs and events that will be taking place at the swimming pool and starting throughout October 2024!

VacSwim is now open, however be quick to enrol your child as spots are limited.
