The Council Plan brings together our Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Business Plan, and Public Health Plan into a single, cohesive framework. It sets the direction for our future and outlines how we will support the community through clear priorities, projects, and services.

Guided by the questions “Where are we now? Where do we want to be? And how do we get there?”, the Plan is designed as a “live” document that will evolve over time as community needs, priorities, and opportunities change. This approach strengthens alignment between planning, budgeting, and service delivery, while improving transparency, accountability, and advocacy. It also reflects our shared commitment to celebrating the magic of our People, Planet and Place, while supporting Prosperity through strong Performance.

The draft Plan has been developed with the community, for the community – and now we want to hear from you. Your feedback will help ensure the final Plan reflects the needs, priorities, and aspirations of our whole district. You can help shape the future of our district in just 15 minutes.
