Have your say on the WA Multicultural Act

The WA Government is considering developing legislation to support multiculturalism, which would become an Act of Parliament if passed, and the consultation period is now open.

A discussion paper outlining the rationale behind this project is available to view online - everyone is encouraged to have their say on the development of a WA Multicultural Act, as public feedback is essential to ensure that the outcomes of this project meet the needs of all Western Australians.

Submissions are due by Sunday 15 February 2026.
