We know many members of the community have been asking about the status of the EV chargers in Donnybrook and when they’ll be available again – here are the latest details.

Donnybrook EV Chargers

In July 2025, the Donnybrook EV chargers were severely damaged when a fallen tree struck the site during a storm. As a result, the chargers have remained out of service while the Shire has worked through the recovery and replacement process, with the insurance claim now close to being finalised. We have also engaged a preferred supplier to install the new chargers and manage their ongoing maintenance.

Timeframe: Provided there are no interruptions, we expect the site to be back up and running in 3-4 months.

Balingup EV Charging Site

We are pleased to share that work is progressing to establish a new EV charging site in Balingup, and a preferred supplier has been engaged to deliver this project.

Timeframe: Based on current progress, implementation is expected to begin within the next 6-8 months.
