Former Cr Lisa Glover has officially resigned from her position on Council – we extend our gratitude for her commitment and service, along with our best wishes for the future.

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1995, the vacancy cannot be backfilled or left unfilled until the next Ordinary Election, so the Shire must proceed with an Extraordinary Election. We are currently awaiting further advice from the WA Electoral Commission (WAEC) and will provide updates to the community as soon as more information becomes available.
