Upgrades to the changerooms at the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC) have officially been completed!
Our poolside facilities have been closed for refurbishments since late June, and we’re pleased to share that they’ll be officially back open from the end of October – thank you to everyone for your patience while the works were underway!
This project started earlier in the year with upgrades to the dry-side changerooms commencing in February. The refreshed changerooms provide an improved space for our swimmers, families and other guests at the DRC, and it’s great to have them completed and ready for the community to enjoy.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back into the upgraded facilities!
This project was proudly delivered by the Shire with support from the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism & Sport (CITS), and forms part of the WA Government’s PlayOn WA, an exciting initiative to deliver 2,030 community infrastructure items across WA by 2030.
