Candidate Information Session
Past Event
Want to help shape the future of the Shire? You might consider nominating to become an Elected Member and representing your community as part of our Council.
Councillors serve the community by listening to residents and local businesses, and representing their views. They are elected by the community, and guide decisions, services and future planning for the whole Shire. With the next Local Government Elections coming up this year in October, this is an opportunity for you to learn what’s involved in being a Councillor.
The Shire is facilitating a Candidate Information Session, and you’re invited – here are the details:
- WHAT: Learn from key speakers, hear about life as an Elected Member, engage in a Q&A and more
- WHEN: Thursday 7 August 2025, 5:00pm – 6:30pm
- WHERE: Council Chambers (1 Bentley St, Donnybrook)
You don’t need to register to attend, simply come along on the day
