Let's talk waste sorting, starting with things that begin with the letter A!

Aerosol Cans

These can't be disposed of in your kerbside bins or Bulk Waste Service - you'll need to go to your nearest Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Point for disposal (free of charge). Our closest one is in Bunbury, at the Stanley Road Waste Management Facility.

Aluminium Cans

These can go into your Recycling bin, but should be empty with no lids. If you've got clean Easter egg wrappers and foil, you can scrunch it into a ball (the size of a golf ball) and put it into recycling. Please note that if the foil is dirty, it needs to go into the General Waste bin alongside Aluminium Lids.

Animal Waste

Pet Droppings are currently accepted in your FOGO bin (Food Organics Garden Organics).
