Blackwood River Arts Trail
Saturday 1st April 2023
Step inside as almost 70 artists open their doors and share their creative spaces on the Blackwood River Arts Trail. Meet the makers, discover their inspirations, and wander through some of the south-west’s most charming towns.
Winding through the Blackwood River valley region, from Kirup to Bridgetown as well as in and around Boyup Brook and Nannup, this arts trail welcomes visitors into over 30 venues including artist studios, sculpture gardens, workshops, stores, galleries, cafes, and wineries.
The trail is on from 1 – 16 April, and showcases a range of arts practices, as well as workshops, demonstrations, and art classes. You might even find that new piece for your home!
We’re also delighted to announce the return of the Blackwood River Film Festival featuring short films by Australian filmmakers, as well as a special showing of nature documentary ‘A Crack in the Mountain’ about the largest cave system in the world.
Head to our website to learn more, download the informative program guide (or pick up a copy from visitor centres or Jacksons Drawing Supplies), and start planning your arts trail!
