Balingup Progress Association invites you to a Community Conversation for those interested in finding out more about representing the community on the Shire Council.

The Conversation is being hosted by Mayor Rhys Williams, Mayor of the City of Mandurah. Rhys was the youngest person elected to the office of Mayor in Western Australia, and was the 2016 Young West Australian of the Year. He will be on hand to chat about his experiences in Local Government, answer your questions about what the role entails, and facilitate a conversation about opportunities for the future in the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup.

Open to all residents in the Shire, this event aims to bring together potential new leaders, and will be designed for people who have never sat on Council before.

Registration is essential (we don’t want to run out of pizza!). Please register with Wendy Trow (brookview@wn.com.au) by 5pm, Sunday 23 July.
