About the Role

As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all pool users through proactive supervision and hazard prevention.

About You

We are looking for candidates who hold a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the qualifications listed below.

Essential Selection Criteria

• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR (HLTAID011, HLTAID009)
• Current Police Clearance - within 3 months
• Current Working With Children Check
• Developed verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed public relations skills
• Organisation and time management skills

Desirable Selection Criteria

• Previous experience as a Lifeguard within a multi-faceted Recreation Centre
• Knowledge of Health Act (Swimming Pool) Regulations 1964
