Free Online Food Safety Training
The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup is committed to assisting our food business community in meeting their obligations under the Food Act 2008 and Food Standards Code. Every food business and food handler are required to have suitable knowledge of health and hygiene requirements and also apply safe food handling practices.
The Shire, in conjunction with Environmental Health Australia (EHA), is offering our registered businesses and community group’s FREE access to the FoodSafe® online food handler training course. This self-paced program will assist food handlers in developing the skills and knowledge required to ensure food is handled in a safe and hygienic way.
A printable certificate is available upon successful course completion.
We encourage all businesses owners and food handling staff to complete the course and display the certificate, so your patrons can see your demonstrated commitment to ongoing food safety and handler hygiene.

The FREE Online Food Safety course is easy to follow, includes an entertaining presentation as well as an interactive quiz. A training acknowledgement certificate can be printed upon completion and be kept as a part of staff records.
