Local Planning Strategy 2014

The Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup Local Planning Strategy is a high level planning document that sets the strategic vision and direction for future land use planning and development within the Shire. The Strategy sets the broad parameters over a 15 year timeframe for which the statutory requirements of the Local Planning Scheme are developed, most importantly, the rationale for zonings within the Shire.

Local Planning Scheme No. 7

The Shire of Donnybrook - Balingup Local Planning Scheme No. 7 (LPS7) sets the statutory framework for the way land is to be used and developed within the local government area. LPS7 includes a range of Scheme Maps that identify zonings that guide the permissibility of land use and development. A Local Planning Scheme is generally prepared by the local government, endorsed by Council and approved by the Minister for Planning.
