Proposed Road Closure

UNCONSTRUCTED ROAD RESERVE WITHIN KIRUP MILL PARK, KIRUP

The Kirup Progress Association are working towards re-development Kirup Mill Park in the townsite of Kirup. In order to consolidate and formalise the use of the public park for recreation and community purposes, a portion of unconstructed road reserve within the area needs to be formally closed.

The subject road reserve is depicted on the plan available here.

Council resolved to initiate road closure proceedings at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 27 April 2022 for a portion of unconstructed road reserve within Kirup Mill Park in the townsite of Kirup.

Pursuant to Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, the proposed closure is hereby advertised for public comment.
