On March 15, 2020, a State of Emergency has been declared in Western Australia under the Emergency Management Act as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic that is affecting the world and our local community.

Under WA laws, a number of Directions have been made in the interests of slowing the spread of COVID-19 which have had strong impact on local businesses.
The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup are preparing to activate the Local Recovery Coordination Group and have developed the COVID-19 Community Recovery Action Plan.
This survey will help the Shire gain an understanding of the issues local businesses are facing now and in the future due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Together with the Donnybrook-Balingup Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI) and the Donnybrook Balingup Community Radio, we would like to support local businesses, negatively affected by the economic impact of COVID-19, by offering the following:
  • A limited number of free radio advertising segments through Donnybrook Balingup Community Radio
  • The DBCCI will waive membership fees for the first six months of the new financial year (July-December, 2020)
  • A limited number of free print advertising/listing in the Preston Press sponsored by the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup.
By completing this survey in full you will be eligible for these opportunities and will provide the Shire with valuable information that will assist both your business and other businesses within the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup.
