HOME DELIVERY SERVICE

 

The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup offer residents a free ‘Home Delivery Service’ of library materials to those who are unable to travel to the library due to illness, age or disability.

 

This service is also available to Tuia Lodge and the Donnybrook Hospital.

 

 

WHAT IS AVAILABLE?

 

The Home Delivery Service provides a full range of library services and delivery of specifically requested titles in a variety of formats, including:

 

  • Fiction and non-fiction books, (normal and large print)
  • Audiobooks
  • Magazines
  • Music CDs
  • DVDs
  • ‘Navigator’ is a digital device that reads books out loud. This device is specifically designed for those who have poor or failing eyesight.

 

 

HOW DOES THE SERVICE WORK?

 

When you  join the Home Delivery Service a staff member from the library will talk to you to find out what your interests are and what sort of material you would prefer, including specific titles and authors you may wish to borrow.

 

As a Home Delivery Service member you will receive a delivery from the library every two weeks.
