ADVICE OF WORKS – DECEMBER 2021/JANUARY 2022

The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup advises that the following works are in progress or programmed to commence in the near future. Please note all works are subject to weather and other conditions, therefore dates may change.

 

DONNYBROOK TOWNSITE – Installation of Christmas Lights. Works to be completed by early December 2021.

SOUTHAMPTON ROAD – Road reconstruction and widening works between SLK 0.7 to SLK 2.0 will continue in December 2021. The works will be paused for a 2-week period over Christmas and New Year’s and recommence on the 4th January 2022. Please note that a road closure with detour will be in place during January 2022.

GRIMWADE-GREENBUSHES ROAD – Road widening and sealing work will be continuing in December 2021 and continuing into January 2022.

SANDHILLS ROAD – Reconditioning of shoulders and drains will be commencing in mid-December 2021.

JAYES ROAD – Reconditioning of shoulders, roadside delineation works, and installation of advisory signs will recommence on Jayes Road in January 2022.

STANDPIPE INSTALLATION (DONNYBROOK) – Installation works for a fully automated standpipe in Donnybrook will continue to be progressed.

Hours of operation are normally between 7.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Works will be clearly signed and you are requested to exercise due care when travelling near or through these areas. Delays are expected to be minimal.
