The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup advises that the following works are in progress or programmed to commence in the near future. Please note all works are subject to weather and other conditions, therefore dates may change.
UPPER CAPEL ROAD – Reconstruction and widening of road and improvements to existing drainage from SLK 11.9 to SLK 13 has commenced and will continue into early April 2022.
SANDHILLS ROAD – Reconditioning of shoulders and drains will be undertaken in April 2022.
COLLINS STREET – Road renewal works have commenced between SLK 0.2 and SLK 1.00 and will continue into April 2022. These works will include sections of road being reconstructed, drainage infrastructure upgrades and renewal to concrete footpaths and kerbing. Road closures with detours will be implemented for the road surfacing works.
STEERE STREET – Upgrading of a section of road and improvements to existing drainage near Hunter Street will continue into April 2022.
JAYES ROAD – Road shoulder widening works will be commencing in late April, following the Easter and Anzac Public Holidays.
BALINGUP – Path renewal works in Balingup townsite will be commencing in late April, following the Easter and Anzac Public Holidays.
Hours of operation are normally between 7.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Works will be clearly signed and you are requested to exercise due care when travelling near or through these areas. Delays are expected to be minimal.
