  • We are closed on Sundays, and our Public Holiday hours are 1:00pm to 4:00pm unless otherwise stated.

The Donnybrook Recreation Centre is a place for fun, fitness, and social activities for anyone, regardless of your age! Open 6 days a week, the centre features a 25m indoor swimming pool used for casual lap swimming to aquarobics, swimming lessons, leisure, carnivals, and even party hire.

Other facilities at the Recreation Centre include:

  • 25m Indoor Heated Pool with Hoist 
  • Sports Stadium (Basketball, Netball, Soccer and Badminton)
  • Squash Courts
  • Function Room (Available for hire, seats 80-120)
  • Gym (Cardio and weights equipment) - Accessible 24-Hours
  • Group Fitness Room

    LEARN TO SWIM AT DONNYBROOK RECREATION CENTRE!

    Your children can join in the fun of learning to swim at Donnybrook Recreation Centre. Classes are available at the Centre all year round with classes for babies, toddlers, primary and high school age children.

    Please note: We will no longer be accepting casual swim school payments due to swim teacher availability. The enrolment is for the upfront 9 week term only. Discounts on 2nd and 3rd siblings enrolled on the program are applied.

    Donnybrook Recreation Centre also supports VacSwim! VacSwim swimming lessons are available each January and October holiday period.

    The Donnybrook Recreation Centre has a wide variety of programs for you to try!

    Group Fitness classes

    Register today by calling the Donnybrook Recreation Centre via (08) 9731 1822) -$16 per session (casual attendance), or we can arrange a Group Fitness Class multi-pass! 

    • Supervised Gym every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00am to 11:00am.
    • Strength for Life every Monday (LLS Balance) and Friday (Gym Stick), from 8:00am to 9:00am.

    • Basketball - contact the Donnybrook Basketball Association to learn more! dbkbasketball@gmail.com
    • Badminton - every Thursday with Liliana who you can contact via 0412 880 233! Juniors @ 3:30pm, Intermediates @ 4:30pm, and Adults @ 6:00pm.
    • Creche - Monday to Thursday weekly, from 9:00am to 11:00am for only $3.50 per child! Gives you the perfect opportunity to use the gym or attend a group session while we watch your kids (aged 0 - 10)!
    • Karate - every Tuesday with Sensei Peter Davis (a 5th Dan Black Belt Master / Shihan) of Goju Ryu Karate! Juniors (8+) @ 5:30pm, and Adults (15+) @ 6:30pm.
    • Netball - visit the Donnybrook Netball Association Facebook Page for all the details, including registration dates and requirement! 
    • Homeschool Sports Programs - every Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm, as of week 2 of term 1! These sessions cover a wide range of sports, teaching skills, and playing games, just contact us directly for enrolment details!
    • Squash - every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, with no experience necessary! Looking to join a Squash Group? Consider joining ours - get in touch with us today to express your interest and register!
