Community Grants Funding Scheme (CGFS)

The Community Grants Funding Scheme aims to build sustainable local communities and enhance social wellbeing within the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup.

The Shire welcomes submissions from individuals, community groups, not-for-profit and commercial organisations that are seeking support for projects, activities and events that address community needs.

Throughout the year your group/organisation may be eligible for funding in the following ways:

MAJOR GRANTS & EVENT SPONORSHIP 

Opens 1st May 2022 & Closes 4.30pm Friday 8th July 2022

Community groups & non-profit organisations operating within the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup are encouraged to apply for assistance through the 2022 - 2023 Community Funding Scheme. Your group/organisation may be eligible for funding under a series of categories. Grants for individual endeavour are also available.

COMMUNITY GRANTS  – up to $2,000 

EVENTS SPONSORSHIP  – up to $2,000 

APPLICATIONS CLOSE on Friday 8th July 2022 -  All applications will receive a written acknowledgement of receipt. The outcome of the application and assessments will only be announced once Council’s Annual Budget has been adopted in August/September 2022.

MINOR FUNDING - All Year round applications 

Applications can be submitted throughout the year.  

Community Grants – Minor projects – up to $500

Event Sponsorship – Minor events – up to $500

Waiver of Fees – Up to $500

Cash Donations - Up to $200
