6.30pm – The Beggars sing The Seekers

This year, we’re presenting ‘The Beggars sing The Seekers’! 50 years ago the Seekers 1968 BBC farewell concert was broadcast to 10 million fans around the world.

The Beggars sing The Seekers follows The Seekers story from the Melbourne cafe scene in 1962 to London, the swinging centre of the pop universe, right through to their farewell concert. All The Seekers hits are included – I‘ll Never Find Another You’, ‘The Carnival is Over’, ‘Morningtown Ride’ and, of course, ‘Georgie Girl’ and many more. All are faithfully re-produced, alongside The Beggar’s originals and rollicking standards such as ‘Open Up Them Pearly Gates’ and ‘Sinner Man’. Sit back or take to the dance floor and enjoy the wonderful harmonies presented by internationally acclaimed Adelaide folk sensation The Beggars!

PLUS, we are offering a free bus pick up from Balingup, through Mullalyup, Kirup & Newlands into Donnybrook for this event.
