Introducing One Library to Donnybrook-Balingup and the South West

Ever wanted to use your library card anywhere in the South West?

The One Library network is the first of its kind in Western Australia, connecting 23 libraries over the South West, from Waroona through to Manjimup, with the last libraries joining the consortia by July 2017.  However, Donnybrook Community Library and Balingup Public Library customers will be able to access this network from the 9th May 2017.

You can use your current library card to borrow and return items at any of the participating libraries.

This user friendly system finally allows our customers online access to resources in all consortia libraries, including integration with eResources, making the option to borrow digital items such as ebooks and e-audio books even easier.  Customers will be able to browse the library catalogue, renew items, place holds (reserves) and request their preferred pick up library.

With over half a million items to select from, you will have a wider choice of books, DVDs, magazines and more. You will find lots to love about our new service.

Of course, we look forward to customers still visiting us in the library, accessing the online catalogue and taking advantage of our free wifi, or perhaps emailing or calling us with queries.

Our online catalogue will be accessible via the Shire website from the 9th May 2017.

Library staff are keen to help customers discover the amazing possibilities that the SirsiDynix Library Management System offers, and the strong online presence our libraries will be able to achieve as we upgrade our operations for the future.
