ANNUAL RURAL ROAD-SIDE VEGETATION CONTROL

The Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup would like to advise the commencement of the annual Rural Road-side Vegetation Control. The spray program is scheduled to commence in late April/May 2017 (weather permitting).  A professional vegetation control contractor will be engaged to undertake works on rural roads whilst the Shire’s Parks and Gardens staff will be managing weeds within the town sites.

Please contact the Shire’s Works & Services Department by phone on 97804209 or email records@donnybrook.wa.gov.au (preferred option) if you do not want your verge to be sprayed, assuming responsibility for weed control on your verge.

Reminder: Weeds on private property are the responsibility of the landowner (including Blackberry, Cotton Bush and Apple of Sodom).

If you require more information regarding the vegetation control spraying or weed control on your property please contact the Shire’s Environmental Officer, Debbie Brace, by email or phone as above.
