Proposed Amendment Local Law – Meeting Procedures



The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup has resolved to make the following local law:

Meeting Procedures Local Law – the purpose of which is to amend certain provisions within the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup Meeting Procedures Local Law. The effect of this local law is to bring order and dignity to meetings and underpin the decision-making processes.

Copies of the proposed local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup, Corner Collins and Bentley Streets, Donnybrook, between the hours of 8.30am and 4pm, or from the Shire website (

Review of Local Planning Policies

The Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup is reviewing existing local planning policies and your comments are invited.

Details of the polices are available here Town Planning Policies or for inspection at the Shire office, Cnr Bentley and Collins Streets, Donnybrook

Comments on the policies may be submitted to the Shire in writing on or before Thursday, 7th June 2018.

Notice of Application for Road Closure

The Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup is giving notice under Section 58(3) of the Land Administration Act 1987.

The Shire resolved to initiate road closure proceedings at its meeting 28th March 2018 for a portion of unconstructed road reserve abutting Kelly Street, Donnybrook.  The reserve is unmade and abuts the property known as Lot 9504 Kelly Street, Donnybrook.

Further information regarding the proposal can be obtained by contacting Council’s Principal Planner at the Shire Office.

Council invites public comment on this proposal. Written submissions close on 31st May 2018.
