WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
There are two waste management facilities within the Shire: the Donnybrook Waste Management Facility and the Balingup Transfer Station. Ratepayers are issued with a 'Waste Management Facilities Pass' with the annual rate notice.

KERBSIDE REFUSE & RECYCLING COLLECTION
A weekly refuse and fortnightly recycling kerbside collection service operates in the town sites of Donnybrook, Newlands, Kirup, Mullalyup, Balingup, Yabberup and Noggerup. Properties on Wade Road Brookhampton, Boyup Brook Road (from Donnybrook to Noggerup), areas of Beelerup and properties zoned rural residential in Argyle, Donnybrook (includes Irishtown), Mullalyup, Balingup and Upper Capel localities (Upper Capel refuse only) are also included in the desigated collection area. Properties located on the collection route may elect to utilise the service.
The charges applicable for kerbside refuse and recycling collection are included on the annual rate notice. An interim rate notice wil be issued for properties on a pro-rata basis where either the service is commenced or finalised after issuing the annual rate notice.
Collection Days:
A contractor owned 240L mobile bin for each refuse and recycling is provided to service the property. Bins are to be placed on the road verge by 6am on collection day. A calendar and brochure are provided which detail recycling collection weeks and items accepted for recycling.
