To encourage older residents to remain in Donnybrook in close proximity to both relatives and amenities, the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup undertook to develop a retirement village at Lot 152 Sharp Street, Donnybrook. The retirement village is known as “Preston Village”.
Preston Village, when completed, will consist of 17 quality 2 bedroom units with garage and activities area, for purchase for lease tenancy for aged residents, as well a Community Centre building.
Stages 1 and 2, consisting of 9 units have been completed and occupied. Stage 3 is currently being built and expressions of interest are being called from prospective tenants.
