Q.  At what age does my dog/cat have to be registered?

A.  A dog/cat owner is legally required to register their pet with the local government if it is more that three months old. All dogs/cats are required to wear a registration tag on their collar, issued by the Council at the time of registration, along with an I.D. tag with owner contact details. These tags are used for identifying pets and owners alike.
