A. To assist in prioritising responses the shire maintains a works request register where your request is recorded and followed up until completed. The shire has a full time grader that continually maintains the 460 kms of gravel roads. Normally each road is graded up to 4 times a year depending upon traffic volumes. Requests for road grading are recorded and inspected, then prioritised depending on need and location of grader. Normally roads are graded within 3 weeks of request should it be warranted.
