Town Planning Notice: Shire of Donnybrook – Balingup Local Planning Strategy and Local Planning Scheme No.7 – Consideration of Submissions and Adoption
Notice is hereby given that the Draft Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup Local Planning Strategy and Local Planning Scheme No. 7 is scheduled to be presented at the Ordinary Council Meeting to be held on Wednesday 22 May 2013 at 5pm, where the matter will be considered. Proposed Donnybrook Stone Buffer Map
Council convened a public meeting with the Department of Mines and Petroleum and other interested and affected parties on the 11th March 2013 where it was agreed to post a map of the Donnybrook Stone Buffer on the Shires website.

Disability Access and Inclusion
The Shire has made good progress towards improving access and inclusion of its services, facilities and information through the ongoing development and implementation of its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.

Local Emergency Management Arrangements
Council at its May 2011 Ordinary meeting endorsed its reviewed Local Emergency Management Arrangements (LEMA) consisting of:

• Part A - Prevent Plan
• Part B - Emergency Contacts and Resources
• Part C - Response to Emergency
• Part D - Emergency Evacuation Plan

In accordance with the Emergency Management Act 2005 the LEMA has now been reviewed to incorporate the identified risks and treatment of the identified risks to best place the local community in the emergency planning and responses to emergencies for the next 5 years.
