Entries are now open for the 2017 Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup Photographic Competition
This year’s theme is ‘Splash of Colour’
Amateur photographers from far and wide are being encouraged to get snapping and enter the 2017 Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup Photographic Competition.
The photo competition represents a fantastic opportunity for photographers of all abilities to capture the beauty, diversity and uniqueness of the region, the people and flora and fauna that live in it.
“We were thrilled with the response to last year’s competition, and the judges had a hard time selecting winners from over 100 excellent entries. The wide range of images featured in last year’s competition demonstrated the beauty and diversity of the region in which we live, work and play,” explained Shire CEO, Benjamin (Ben) Rose.
“We’re also extremely pleased to welcome the Donnybrook Community Bank branch of the Bendigo Bank back on board as the sponsor for this year’s Photographic Competition,” Mr Rose continued.
Three overall winners will be selected from the 12 winning entries, and each will receive a Donnybrook Bendigo Bank account;:
– 1st place – $500
– 2nd place – $250
– 3rd place – $100
As in previous years, the winning entries will be featured in the Shire’s 2018 Community Calendar.
The Competition is open now and entries close on Monday 16 October 2017.
