Join us at the May Donnybrook Station Markets, where we'll be showcasing 18 of our local clubs / organisations - you can become a member, join a club, or express your interest for volunteering!
Plus, we have workshops taking place at the Donnybrook Recreation Centre this month with thanks to Volunteer Southwest - you can attend for free, just register via the link! Each session takes place from 5pm to 7pm on their respective days:
15/05: Attracting & Retaining Young Volunteers
Take a look at engaging with young people to volunteer in your organisation, who will help you with creating new energy, fresh ideas, and opportunities for positive change.
This workshop looks at what attracts young people to an organisation as well as giving you effective strategies and practical tips for recruitment and engagement strategies.
22/05: Event Planning within the Shire of DB
You don’t know until you know - learn how to apply for holding or hosting a public event within the Shire of DB, what documentation may need to be provided, and what other various approvals may be necessary.
